Clarinet, an expressive instrument of jazz and the classics, captivated me after seeing Richard Stolzman live. About 50 years worth of popular music trends in America favored the clarinet. I love recreating this music and finding other music that sounds good on clarinet.

I love writing songs and have been doing it as long as I can remember, for theatre, for children's groups, for myself. This album is out of print but it contains some of my earlier songs.

Bass Fiddle

It's a big instrument!  Playing bass allows me to support other musicians in a background role. There's nothing quite like laying down the bottom! Try it some time.
